After President Obama's video message to the Iranian people Friday, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei dismissed overtures, saying Tehran does not see any change in U.S. policy under its new administration.

The New York Times leads with a focus on who wins when older workers compete against a younger generation for jobs. Millions who delay retirement in tough times have made it difficult for younger workers to begin cutting their teeth. Employers' attitude is now "in with the old and out with the new," an expert told the Times.

The developer rebuilding the World Trade Center site has requested federal aid, The Wall Street Journal reports. Much of the Sept. 11 memorial site -- which is to include five skyscrapers, a transit hub, shopping mall and performing arts center -- was expected to open between 2011 and 1013 and could be seriously delayed if funds are not received.

The nation's largest student lender Sallie Mae has made earlier deadlines for private student loan repayments, the Los Angeles Times reports. Although the earlier deadlines would save borrowers money in the long-term, payments would need to be made while students are still in school, instead of post-graduation as has been the usual. Some students worry they may have to transfer to less expensive institutions.

A judge refused Friday to reverse a court ruling that held New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin in violation of state public record laws, the Times-Picayune reports. The legal battle began over a public records request for copies of the mayor's 2008 e-mails and appointment calendar. Nagin is personally liable for thousands of dollars in penalties.
